One of Wilf's better ones
This is one of Wilf's better albums, with some nice versions of some old classics, eg. The Very Thought of You and Hallelujah! I Love Her So. He sounds a lot happier on this album than his usual self too...
It's helped along by Van Morrison and Doris Troy guesting on a couple of tracks, which offers some light relief.
Overall it's pretty listenable...!
Short Term Gem
Having read and heard some great reviews for this album I decided to go for a punt. Its surprisingly good if you like blue eyed soul. The only problem is it suffers in the same kind of way as the coral. All the songs are immediately excellent but just don't have the staying power to make me want to listen to it again in six months time.
Brillian CD
This CD is for anyone who loves the retro style music it is fantastic. I loved it so much I have now bought the others. If ever he is doing a tour I would definately see it.
