Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
One of the most striking debut albums ever released, this disc instantly established Chapman as a musical force, and with good reason. Immediacy, integrity of purpose and unqualified artistry are apparent in nearly every song. And while "Fast Cars" remains Chapman's best-known work, "Talkin' Bout a Revolution" is that rarest breed: a song which is both topical and timeless. Any exploration into Chapman's work should begin with this at times stunning effort; it is a disc of remarkable uniformity and clarity that Chapman has yet to improve on. --Wayne Pernu

file under classic5
a wonderful album that is as captivating now as it was twenty years ago. tracy took 5 years to write the eleven tracks on this album and the depth of emotion and artistic beauty she created make for a timeless album can only be put into the category of classic.

A Classic5
I'll keep this short and simple. This is one of the greatet records of music ever created, of any genre. An absolutley suberb, unique voice which touchs your heart. As well as a brilliant voice, Chapman is also a world-class lyricist, singing about important issues, not just the false lovey/sex nonsense released by most of todays musicians. Buy the album, you won't regret it.

A Spritual CD5
This is a truly great album and I love it. The songs arouse all kinds of emotions and from the beginning (Talking bout a revolution) to the end (For you) takes you on a musical journey that will leave you wanting more. The lyrics are written in the package and in several languages as well. My brother and sister both have this CD and they love it. My only slight criticism is of the song (behind the wall) which is an a cappella, and (If not now) which is way way too short. This album and its contents transcend time and if you are a true music lover, then you need to buy it, well worth more that the money. Thanks a lot Tracy.
