Exquisite lyrical flow over supreme beats5
Del tha Funkee Homosapien delivers a comedic and witty debut, which lyrically has highlighted him as one of the great Hip Hop talents of the last ten years. This album features epic storytelling flowing over impeccably produced beats, which were over seen by his cousin, Ice Cube. Del has a penchant for a supreme lyrical flow that allows the listener to be hypnotised by his wordplay. He is truly one of the great wordsmiths of our time and deservedly has gone on to feature heavily in Deltron 3030 and the Gorrillaz. Any fan of those should explore this hidden gem as it will allow you to see where this master lyricist began plying his trade. I lost this tape when I was a kid and have recently been able to get hold of a copy. It's even better now than it was then.

Not great2
Out of all of Del's albums, this probably won't be in the hall of fame. For the most part, the musc isn't great however his lyrics sre. The only problem is that therefore listening to it is not a fantastic experience. If you need a good Del album try no need for alarm as it has rockin beatz to match the intricacy of the lyrics themselves
