If it's not what you usually listen to, drop everything!4
Give it a try.
I am into rock, indie , jazz fusion and other reasonably unrelated genres but this blew my mind. If the word 'gospel' fills your mind with unpleasant sounds (as it did before I heard any that was good ie. this) don't think gospel, think fat a capella jazz chords sung with the most incredible precision and feeling (Listen to track 5 'Come unto me' ). Better than the beach boys. And then there are songs like 'I believe' and 'I LOVE U' which, to you probably sound wet and soppy but behind the lyrics is the most amazing music. Most of the album is entirely human made music, they do beats and claps and produce an incredible sound. Take six are athletic singers, this album is amazing. Please ignore the stereotypes set in your head of this kind of music. I would never have found it if my dad didn't buy it, it's not my scene. Make it your scene, or at least try it. You'll at least recognise the brilliant talent of these guys even if you don't fancy the music.

Jesus makes them funky!5
If you think this type of stuff must be old hat, you couldn't be more wrong, put aside any preconceptions about "Gospel Music", this is more original and adventurous than a van load of your average rock/dance/R&B CD's.

I am a total heathen, but the sheer joy of the singing, the absolutley amazing voices and far-out harmonies that they employ makes this CD exciting, uplifting, extraordinary, funky and really, really enjoyable.

incredible musicianship, arrangements and production4
When i first heard Take 6 it really knocked me back - the singers are all amazingly versatile and soulful (listen to the bass...) and they're obviously all great musicians. I personally prefer their truly jazzy acappella stuff rather the the smoother tracks but it is all very very good.

I had the pleasure of seeing them live and they were just as good - one of the best live acts I've ever seen. I love you is a track that just makes you smile its so god damned funky. Wicked.
