This is the album on which Aretha finds her voice. She'd previously recorded for another label, but this Atlantic debut created the sound that has come to define her. The tracks read like a greatest hits collection: "Respect", "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man", "Dr. Feelgood", "Baby, Baby, Baby", "A Change Is Gonna Come", and the title track. In my opinon this is Aretha at her very best. Sincerity, soul & her unique & brilliant vocal delivery just ooze from this album.Each track arouses a different emotion - Save Me gives me goose bumps!If you are considering buying this album JUST DO IT, you won't be disappointed.
