Customer Reviews

Remember Abba?5
Well, Army of Lovers is NOTHING like them! If you are a fan, you will love the album. For those of you who have never heard of them, how does one describe Army of Lovers? Original, outrageous, sexy, disco, modern dance, very camp, exceptional melodies, electronic effects, great harmonies... Almost any epithet you choose to pick would probably fit. To my dying day I will never understand why they never made it HUGE worldwide. If you are fed up of listening to Abba at parties, try Army of Lovers for a change. You won't regret it. In fact, you'll probably be hooked and buy every album in existence! Shame the videos are no longer being shown on MTV.... If you ever get to see one, you will understand why they were the most popular music videos of the 1980s. :-))))

Fantastic, simply!5
With the Army about to make a comeback now's the time to get in early so that when all your friends go 'Have you heard that new Let The Sunshine In song' you can go 'A-ha! I have their Greatest Hits album from 1999' and you'll look really cool. Plus you're guaranteed some of the best tunes around...

But I thought they were all great!?!5
To compile an album of Army of Lovers 'greatest' hits is really to combine all of their previous five albums into one but obviously they had to pick a mere 18 dittys! It was very nice to see new tracks on the album and Venus and Mars is somthing else! Overall I think they picked out the best of the best with little exception although you need to hear their entire collection to appreciate their total brilliance (am I raving!?) Get this album and see what you think - if you like it - BUY the rest of their work. You won't regret it! xx
