Customer Reviews

Dear Dotti what should I do??4
Not the best Lunachicks album ever, but still recommended. I always liked the band because they were pretty loud and angry, but also a lot of fun. The guitars are especially great, and Theo Kogan's voice still sounds fantastic, and at times bloody hilarious.
Best songs go to 'Yeah', 'Dear Dotti' and 'What's Left'. If you like bands like Babes In Toyland and Hole from their 'Pretty on the Inside' days, then chances are you may not like this, because it's not that angry. But it is very good. Like I said, not the best, as their best albums for me were 'Babysitters On Acid' and 'Luxury Problem', but this is still definitely worth it, so give in to the Chicks and show em you love em.

IS IT A FORK OR IS IT A SPOON?!5
This album is by far one of the best I have heared In a long time.
Lunachicks are amazing and I'm suprised not many people know of them.
That's all I really have to say.

the inner depths of obscurity should resurface4
well, what can i say. nobody seems to know them but i just don't know why! i bought this album-the first time i saw one in a shop ever- having heard brickface and stucco and ay chihuahua in a gokart compilation. i listened to the album once through and sulked because it wasn't the same as id expected but then i tried again and i loved it. get past the scratchy ameteur style and you see some truly memorable melodies, some at the height of novelty that punk so likes to produce "the day squid's gerbil died" and "dear dotti" ahve great melodies and are somehow about nothing at all, and there are anthems to some wonderful things such as sporks, but then they get serious and pull out the highly original, comtemplative "what's left" and " i don't want you" is quite possibly the best. the catchyness and energy is 100s of times better then "punk" like blink 182, rawer and more abrasive. buy it and let it ro on you. that is if you find it!!!!
