Fantastic 70s Soul
Please buy this album!
The songs are all good, some are great. Each member of the group gets to sing lead on at least 1 song. The album is all slow-mid tempo love songs & creates a great romantic atmospehere with soaring vocals & stirring arrangements.
For me, stand-out tracks are
1. In the Rain
2. Fall in Love, Lady Love
3. Me and Mrs. Jones (right up there with the Billy Paul original)
5. Treat Me Like a Man
7. Just Shopping (Not Buying Anything)
10. Stop Your Weeping
12. Spaced Out over You
15. Be My Girl
You should love this if you like the 70s male vocal groups like the Temptations, the Dells or Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes.
