Martin gore looks into daves soul for the first time5
The fist single taken from the Ultra album. Dave's distorted voice fits perfectly with gores lyrics, and quite suited to Dave at that present time. The relentless beat of the drum timed with guitar rhythm makes a welcome return for Depeche mode after long absence. Barrel of a gun sends out a message to all the depeche mode fans that want to live a life like Dave Gahan. (And that's not to) For the first time I think Martin Gore in some way has been influenced by his long-standing vocalist to write Barrel of a gun. Welcome BACK boys.
