Customer Reviews
i can feel it coming on strong
gallianos debut album,is a melting pot of great musically diverse songs, from the soul of welcome to the story and little ghetto boy,to the accoustic percussion of cemetary of drums.this album is a great introduction to a band that produced so much great music.
if you like your music diverse, and with a sense of humour as well as as a conscience ,buy this album, you won,t be disappointed.
sit back, chill out and listen ...
Contemporary (circa 1992) jazzfunkanglorapstuff
I got this along time gone (woah there's an immediate in galliano speak in joke type ting) I am not a "lost boy of jamaica" as the Mrs just called me..hmmm anyways back to the disk it was at its time, a pseudospiritual release of a stoned generation but had a suitably laudable london is a groovy mix of diffent cultures /creeds/races and they all like each other type vibe which made it appealing to me. also 'in there' was a wacky mix of cockney speak mysticism (with an on stage stick waving shaman at live gigs) for me to believe that perhaps there was somethin going down in there neck of the woods. The songs are now horribly dated but at the time it tickled my fancy so if you ever find yourself in 1992 BUY this mofo !
