A not bad ep4
This has the better take of 'Condemnation' mixed by Alan Wilder & Steve Lyon: the 'Paris' mix. This is mellower than the album version- though I'm still not sure this was a very wise choice for a single. The video's appalling too...The bonus tracks are an extended-take of 'Death's Door' from the soundtrack to 'Until the End of the World'. This is a brilliant song with vocals by Martin Gore & great blues inflected guitar- though this version feels jazzy in the same way as parts of Angelo Badalamenti's scores for 'Twin Peaks' & 'Wild at Heart'...The other bonus tracks are remixes of 'Rush' by Jack Dangers (Meat Beat Manifesto)- though I don't think you can beat the original- one of Alan Wilder's finest hours. He's much missed...
