80's POP PRINCESSES STAND TEST OF TIME !!!
This was one of my favourite albums at the time of release and the best album that SAW ever produced. If you want a CD thats going to cheer you up and make you forget your problems then this is for you. Mel and Kim never wanted to be serious artists, they just wanted to have fun and thats what this album is all about. Showing Out, Respectable and FLM are still fantastic after all these years and prove that the Spice Girls didn't invent Girl Power. The final Mel and Kim single Thats The Way It Is is also featured and proved they hadn't lost their touch. This is classic eighties pop at its best. The lyrics "If you dance you'll feel a whole lot better" is typical Mel and Kim advice. I advise you to buy this album and have a good dance YOU'LL FEEL A WHOLE LOT BETTER! I promise you.
A wonderful CD capturing a great time in music....
This album encompasses everything about the UK '80's production/writing team of Stock, Aitken and Waterman - that is, wonderfully classic pop tunes. The music is very '1980's' in it's sound (oh those 80's drum machines!), but the great beats, catchy tunes and wonderfully composed lyrics give this a timeless quality. One of the precursors to modern dance music - get this to relive a golden age in music.....
a must have 80s classic
After listening to this cd it took me back to my hey days of the mid 80s The first group to come out of the hit factory machine and probably the best .It has the classics respectable f.l.m. and showing out and stuff from the old albumns .A must have cd for all you 80 fans .
