The art of rollicking good folk lives on!
When Reading's finest first put some tracks down which we could treat ourselves to at leisure, there was long-awaited appreciation. (These guys had been gigging long before The Levs, Pogues et al became socially acceptable). This is a superb collection of stirring folk tunes, lilting melodies and some rework of our fine British folk heritage. It is inspirational to see how Pressgang have subsequently ensured that modern, lifting folk lives on - well done, boys!

I have often wondered, though, why the guitar wasn't higher in the mix on this album, did the pocket money run about before final production, or is my hearing just a little jaded...?
