Editorial Reviews

CD Description
On their sophomore effort, Sisqo, Nokio, Woody and Jazz drop another gem. Following up on their 1996 debut, ENTER THE DRU finds Dru Hill delivering the same cutting-edge R&B that has made them a worldwide success. Contributions from some of the most talented contemporary writers and producers make ENTER THE DRU a hard album to resist. Super-hitmaker Babyface co-wrote and co-produced the first single, "These Are the Times", while David Foster co-produced the Diane Warren ballad "What Do I Do With The Love". Wu-Tang's Method Man flips a verse on "This Is What We Do".
There are plenty of trademark Dru Hill ballads such as "One Good Reason", "I'll Be The One' and "What Are We Gonna Do". Be sure to check out the Daryl Simmons-produced "The Love We Had (Stays On My Mind)", which is a cover of a classic Dells song. With the huge success of their debut album, one can imagine the inherent difficulty in following it up. ENTER THE DRU is everything DruHill fans could want and more.

Customer Reviews

The best dru hill album ever.5
the first time that i listened to the album, i was amazed at what impact five young lads could have on me. The tracks from 8-17 are just special and nos 13 and 16.. i just havent heard any better. these boys are amazing and i find my self lkistening to the album every night before bed. AShame though i dont think that the magic can ever be recreated as i have the dru world order album and quite frnakly its disappointing.

Awesome5
This is my favourite album from my favourite group. It's one of a few albums where every song is great. This group is often branded imitators of 'Jodeci' but in these last few months I have listened to all their albums and I don't think they are equal to this album. 'Angel' is my 2nd favourite song of all time and it runs rings round Robbie William's song of the same title plus most guys know how it feels to want a girl back so this will sooth the pain slightly. Basically tracks 8-17 are amazing love songs and it's a shame they aren't popular in the UK but it makes them special if you listen to this with your lover. Tracks 1-4 are fast paced songs which are suitable for clubs and cars.5-7 are nice songs but are over shadowed by the power of the last 10 songs. This is better then any single Boyz II Men album and each friend have mine have become hooked on this and each different girl has fallen in love with me to this music. I strongly recommend this album as you will wonder how you have never heard these tracks before as they blow any love tracks out of the water since this album hit the stores.

Last album before they went to pot.4
This was one of the last albums made that acvtually capture the 90's , early 00's R&B Flavour.

Buy their first album, if you liked it but this album. Then you must never look for any further works by any of them.

Promise me that?
