The bad girls of R&B are back at it again and after a long layoff. Chili, Left Eye, and T-Boz, collectively known as TLC prove that nothing's gonna change their world. With classic TLC demeanor on tracks like "No Scrubs" (sure to get even the most motion-challenged dancer to bust a move), "I'm GoodAt Being Bad", (TLC at its best) "Silly Ho" and "If They Knew", TLC reminds us why being "bad" is sometimes so attractive. But with all the bad-girl image that TLC works so hard to project, they show their versatility on tracks like "I Miss You So Much" and "Dear Lie". These two cuts show some sentimentality, spotlighting a different side of the TLC their fans have come to know and love.

Amazon.co.uk Review
The jumpy, Timbaland-esque beats that kickstart the title track of Fanmail, TLC's long-awaited follow-up to 1994's zillion-selling CrazySexyCool, are a lot more impressively modern than the "computerised" voices that introduce several cuts. Most of the album's production is similarly up to date, displaying the trio's smouldering style to good effect. A few of these songs ("Silly Ho," "No Scrubs," "Unpretty") verge on the anthemic, while Babyface-helmed ballads such as "I Miss You So Much" and "Dear Lie" feel like they're running on automatic pilot. For the most part, though, Fanmail earns its status as a multi-platinum sure thing. --Rickey Wright

A timeless R & B classic!
It took me a while just to realise how WICKED this selection is. I am suitably converted.I would recommend this to anyone with a penchant for slick, cool hip-hop/R & B.Everyone probably knows "No Scrubs", "Unpretty" & "Dear Lie" but there is so much more.My personal faves are "My Life" - BAD lyric spitting by the sadly-departed Lisa "Left Eye" LOpes (RIP), and "Lovesick". This outfit will be hard,if not impossible, to emulate! WORD.
A well-crafted follow-up
TLC has always been about attitude, and this lp sure does have some. This modern r'n'b atmosphere has it all to please every single fan:the anthemic "no scrubs" is so damn good! The pop cut "unpretty" is like a cool breeze with these vocal harmonies we've always known."silly ho" is great fun, "i miss you so much" is just beautiful, "dear lie" is magnificient...and the rest is just TLC.A classic r'n'b record.
A smooth slick collection
“Fanmail” demonstrates that TLC have come a long way since their “Crazy Sexy Cool” days, at the same time without losing that sassiness that made them so popular. There’s a fair number of great tracks on here, the best being the singles “Unpretty” and “No Scrubs” and a great little ballad, “I Miss You so much”, my personal favourite. If you’re a TLC or R’n’B fan, you will definitely like this album which has a good number of tracks, all well-produced and with that infamous TLC vibe! Stick it on your CD player now!
