Customer Reviews
The variety of styles is excellent.
This double CD of songs by the incredible Meat Loaf is one of the best that I have listened to in a very long time. The mixture of styles is wonderful from the classic number one "I would do anything for love" to the more orchestral "A kiss is a terrible thing to waste". The superb duets with Cher and Ellen Foley never fail to lift my spirits after a long day at college and "Heaven Can Wait" is the perfect tune to relax to. I would recommend this album to any Meat Loaf fan and I praise his ability to reach out and touch me with his lyrics.
A Classic Collection
I felt i had to give this 5 as it is a classic album, and brings together all our favourite Meatloaf songs. With possibly the best songs being 'I would do anything for love' and 'Heaven can wait'. There are a couple of songs that dont match up to the rest but the good ones are so good that they allow a few bad ones. A great CD for those that love Meatloaf but dont have the money to buy the whole collection.
The best compilation yet.
This double cd brings together some of the best of Meat Loafs songs, with new mixes and different tempos for classic 'Meat' songs. This aptly named album truly is the very best of Meat Loaf
