14 years overdue!
Caron Wheeler, widely known for her stint in Soul 2 Soul and, in particular, the massive hit Keep on Moving, has to be the most underrated UK soul star! I stumbled across this album from 1993 by pure accident but I'm so glad I found it. Although now somewhat dated, this is full of fresh and funky gems and Caron's voice is outstanding. I would have bought this just for the remake of Hendrix's Wind Cries Mary - which is not only brilliantly re-vamped but also excellently executed, with elements of the original live recording of the track interweaved.
If you like your soul original, funky and thoughtful then get this immediately! Perhaps a re-release is in order!
