Customer Reviews

Soul music to die for...5
Following on from where he left off with Volume 1, Dave Godin picks out another perfect selection of soul. It's worth buying the album for any of the songs, although the original version of "Go Now" by Bessie Banks is a definite highlight along with Eddie and Ernie's "Hiding in the Shadows". You may not have heard of all the artists, but if you take a chance (and you have any semblance of taste) you will love this album.

I havent heard the 4th of this collection but the first three are superb. Great songs, great singing, emotions raw and on the surface. If you want your music to move you, move this into your cd player
