A Christmas Story5
This is a hilarious depiction of an American family Christmas. The family in this movie are not the perfect American T.V. family, but rather have their strange quirks, crazy arguments and typical family problems. The story is told by Ralph, the eldest son, whose dry wit and outrageous fantasies of how life could be are truly comical, and the humour has two levels which can be appreciated by children and adults alike. This is a true stunner of a Christmas movie, combining comedy, family madness and true Christmas warmth. Top class!

Why oh why is this not available on region 2 dvd. It is a classic.

A Christmas Must5
I first saw this movie about 10 years ago, when I was ill and home from school. I loved it, but never knew what it was called and never saw it on TV again. Finally I had a look online and found out the name, but alas, it's not available on DVD in the UK. Thank goodness I managed to get a copy from across the pond. I was slightly worried that I was going to be dissapointed, as I'd built it up in my head to how good it was. However, thankfully, it was even better than I remembered. It's hilarious, the over-the-top reactions and little imagination skits are touches of complete genius, and so true to how you see things as a kid. An absolute must for everyone, young and old alike, at Christmas
