Impressive!
I have to say, i was surprised at how much i enjoyed these two b-sides. Theres no need to talk about how AMAZING and borderline classic (and campy) that the A-side is. G.A.Y. is well, gay. Handclaps and synths about dancing, it is the most disco-tinged song from the album sessions, and i have no idea why this wasnt put on the album. Same is to be said about the oddly listenable "summertime" which is trip-hop meets geri, and it comes off quite nicely. As someone who felt that the debut album from Ginger Spice was uneven, (as is all of her work), these 2 b-sides shows that it was someone at the label who was wrong for leaving these off, not ms. halliwell.

Geri Goes Latin
This song shows Geri at her best and it's got number one written all over it! The other two songs included on this single were also good, and I wondered why they weren't on the album. These songs will have you humming along to them and will really get stuck in your head. Geri leaving the Spice Girls was the best thing that ever happened to her.
