Monkees CD Review
I heard the song "Daydream Believer" Played several times on BBC Radio 2 during the summer of 2003. It really grew on me, and so I bought this Album. Although the Monkees is not from my generation I enjoyed many of the tracks. This CD is a worthwhile buy for any music fan, its great to listen to in the car, many of the songs are quite uplifting and also relaxing.
First Ever Title
This album was quite good, its tune was just a great hit. If you want some quality music with a good beat to follow this is the one. You will neveer get fed up with it and as soon as it comes on youll know what mucis it is! Have a go and buy it!
An Average "Monkees" album still beats today's top 40!
Nice little album here, Containing the hits "Valleri" and "Daydream Believer", and other nice tracks like "Dream World" (Co-written by Davy Jones), "Topioca Tundra" (Written by Michael Nesmith), "The Poster" and "I'll Be Back Up on My Feet". However, I must admit that I don't like "Zor and Zam", which is a bit too silly for my taste, But then, it does have it's fans. The main problem with this album is that The Monkees only wrote about a 3rd of the songs on it, and Micky & Peter barely appear on the album at all. Still, As the title of this review says, an average Monkees album still beats the top 40 of today, and since most of the tracks here are good, This is certainly worth getting if you like the hits and want more.
