goosebumps5
I've never been a lover of best of's but this is unmissable. Whatever your reason for buying this, patriotism, homesickness or wanting to bask in sweet memories this is a cd that you'll never tire of. Scottish Rain slides over you and conjures up beautiful images of our fair green land. Wild Mountain Thyme has a heart stopping vocal which leaves me wrung out and goose-pimply every time. It breathes love. Buy it and love it

Silencers?? under rated or what????????????????5
I have seen The Silencers on many occasions in Dingwall & Inverness, they were truly magnificent, "i can feel it" raises every hair on my body, as does Scottish rain, painted moon and something worth fighting for, Jimme o'neil is a rare talent and should be encouraged to do what he does beautifully.... pen magnificent music and lyrics
PS. his daughter Aura is not only beautiful but has a great voice

A Truly Awesome CD.5
I bought this CD purely for the beautifully rendered version of Wild Mountain Thyme (remember the Scottish Tourist Board ad?), and was completely thunderstruck when I listened to the other tracks. From the mesmeric "Scottish Rain" through the haunting "Razorblades of Love" to the just plain stunning "Cellar of Dreams", this CD is quite simply awesome. I am at a loss for superlatives so ... just buy it (trust me on this).
