Customer Reviews
the finest Miserere recording?
Yes. This is it. Having listened to many, many recordings of Allegri's famous "Miserere", I stumbled across this one, not sure what to expect. I was stunned by the unfaltering accuracy of the high treble, Richard Farnsworth, who more than merits special mention. The choir sings sensitively throughout. Of the other tracks of this album, all of which are sung superbly, the three countertenor plainchants "Christus factus est" sent shivers down my spine, whilst Lotti's three "Crucifixus" are also very fine indeed.
Congratulations to Martin Neary and the choir on a fantastic recording.
