Customer Reviews
My daughter loves it
After watching Rolf on TV I bought this for my 4 month old daughter - I used to love the tunes as a kid and she adores the wobble board. There are so many upbeat tunes and nice slow ones for before bed. As soon as she hears 'Sunrise' and 'Johnny Day' she will stop crying and start gurgling. To see her in her bouncer bouncing to 'Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport,' and the 'Turkey Strut' and 'Six White Boomers' ,is good fun to her and us. However like a person above I was disappointed with Nick Teen and K Hall - it stopped it being a great album for everyone in the family.
Rolf Harris Genius
What can i say about this about this album except Superb. When i got this album i bought it for a joke but after listneing to it rolf became one of my favourite artists so much in fact i went to see him at the albert hall.
the songs are his cream dela cream, Two litle boy a song which can have you in tears the halarious Big Dog and the famous waltzing matilda. To buy this album is to own music that will imprint itself on your soul and which is as good today as it was when it was first released.
Brilliant yet not completely brilliant
We love Rolf Harris in our house, anything he gets involved with seems to go down well with us. BUT we felt short changed and disappointed with tracks 12 and 13 here. The 'Court of King Carractacus' is a favourite yet starts half way in with Rolf already singing at a pace. Big shame because the build up makes the song really. 'Nick Teen and Al K Hall' is new to us and a disappointment because we bought the CD primarily for our young children. The song jokes about getting into drinking and smoking. Shame.
