Product Description

The Bee Gees, Luciano Pavarotti, Carole King and Barbra Streisand all in the same place. Is it the inauguration of a new branch of Planet Hollywood? Naw, it's just an album by a little Canadian gal named Celine Dion. True to form, on LET'STALK ABOUT LOVE the key word is big. Songs, arrangements, production, performance, it's all in Cinemascope and Technicolour with Surround Sound to boot. The grand musical gesture is what Celine Dion has founded her career on, and in that regard she certainly doesn't disappoint on this collection ofseamless, radio-friendly pop. Her voice is a miraculous instrument and she exploits its range and tone to their fulleston such tunes as "Immortality" (written by and performed with the aforementioned Brothers Gibb) and "The Reason" (with Carole King).

Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
Dion has released a lot of music in the last four years, which in lesser talents could generate a "got the last one, don't need this" yawn from the public. Every conceivable base is covered here--"Tell Me" is the iconic pop adult smash, "Treat Her Like a Lady" has sewn up Adult Contemporary Radio, and there are a half-dozen others to keep the party going well beyond 1999. The inclusion of the theme song to Titanic ("My Heart Will Go On") proves that nothing is likely to scuttle the unsinkable Ms. Dion. --Jeff Bateman

Fantastic5
Well you either love her or hate her but either way no one can say that this women cannot sing.
Some albums fade from a memeory after a while. This album by Celine as proved to stand the test of time. Even after all this time since it's release back in 1999.
This is one to add to your collection even if you are not a Celine fan. You wont be dissapointed....

Excellent! 5
I think this album is brilliant, it really stands out from anything else out there. Funnily enough this was the first full Celine album i ever listened to, proir to that i only knew Celine from owning the mega hit single 'My Heart Will Go On'. I was like 8 or 9 and i heard someone play that song, even at that age i noticed how good the vocals were, it was inevitable that one day i would become a Celine Dion fan.

The best songs on this album, if i had to pick them out are 'Us', 'Miles To Go Before I Sleep' & 'The Reason', this song is sung perfectly and i can understand why they put it as the opening track on the album, the song takes off with such power, but i must point this out, it does sound a bit like a Queen song with it's tempo changes and strong, heavy backing vocal for the phase 'in the middle of the night'. I mean as i said, i love all the songs on this album, the only song i skip is 'I Hate You Then I Love You' the duet with Pavarotti, thats the only dodgy song on the album. Having said that, i do think the collaborations are slightly weaker than when we hear Celine on her own, but thats just my opinion. Overall its a superb album, and if you don't already own it i would defiantly recommend you add it to your collection.
