Something so right
There's got to be something wrong with anyone who doesn't rate Vera Lynn who is this country's most famous girl singer and who can be said to have been in the forefront of the first British Invasion which also included Dick James ,Mantovani and Frank Chacksfield
Having just passed her 90th birthday it seems absurd that there has yet to be a DVD.
The closest so far is Songs of World War 2 which she introduces and which shows footage of her on stage. In fact seen here she looks quite stunning
Possibly every song she ever recorded is now on CD the most recent the EMI Singles Collection which includes the 2 Beatles songs
singles collecrion
Vera Lynn is the best simply the best and not Tina Turner, she do not sing dut are just screaming.
from a dane, born after the war2
