Recorded at Ardmore Studios outside Dublin in early October, the Corrs sound comfortably at home on this orchestrally-enhanced live acoustic gig. With only two studio albums to their credit, it may seem a bit early to go for an Unplugged re-run but the inclusion of two new Corrs-penned songs and a trio of previously unheard covers as well as the live greatest hits means there's something fresh to enjoy. An unplugged session also establishes clearly that The Corrs, in danger of being perceived as pop puppets, are a real band who play and sing beautifully and can deliver the goods live. Encouragingly, the two new songs, "Radio" and "At Your Side", are well up to the usual Corrs standard, while much of the already familiar material benefits from tasty orchestral arrangements--"What Can I Do" in particular works better than the dance re-mix hit version. --Johnny Black

Wasn't sure whether to buy this one ? ....Glad i did
As my review is titled I wasn't sure whether I needed this live recording of the Corrs, considering I had most of the tracks already on other albums.

However after watching a DVD of the Corrs that my friend had, I really enjoyed their cover of "old town" so decided to buy this album.
Now it is easily my fave Corrs cd! The fact it is live adds so much to the music, if you listen hard on Toss the Feathers you can her Andrea taking sharp intakes of breath between penny whistling!

For all the people who think the Corrs are light weight pop stars, listen to this cd and realise they are talented musicians who can play live and have great flexibility.

Altogether it's a great mix of Corrs track and covers which sound good in there own right! Deff the Corrs - MTV Unplugged is worth having!

Celtic blarney.
The corrs,talented yes,bland yes.This album is poor and a live recording of alot of songs you already have,they haven't even played around with them to make them sound any different.Hence 102 used and new starting at 15p!!!should be in your mums collection perhaps?

LIVE - WOW - AMAZING!!
I love the corrs, they are one of the best bands out there and I have been a fan since the mid 90s when I was about 14. I still like them to this day and they have released some amazing music throughout the years.

This album is a LIVE album, a album that recorded live for a MTV show that can also be bought on DVD.
This album shows how amazing the Corrs really are with lots of amazing performances of some of their best songs and a couple of covers thown in.

This album is great from start to finish and you get lost in it and it's almost as if you are their watching them live.

Brill from start to finish!!
