Customer Reviews
the best Rumble of them all!
From top to bottom, this pay-per-view from January, 1992 delivered! The opening match of the New Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart) vs. the Orient Express is one of the best WWF tag team matches of this era. These four men put on almost a 20-minute classic. In addition, this show featured the first WWF title win for Roddy Piper as he met the then-IC Champion the Mountie. And in the main event, 30 men battle it out for the WWF Championship! The biggest Rumble match of all time saw such stars as Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, the Undertaker, Roddy Piper, Rick Martel, Jake Roberts, the British Bulldog, Sid Justice, and Shawn Michaels go head to head for the title! A great performance by Ric Flair and an even better post-match interview in which he clearly states that he is truly THE man. Very recommended.
Flair's Greatest Moment in the WWF
If you are a Ric Flair fan and a Royal Rumble fan then this is the video for you! Flair exceeds all limits in this 60 minute plus match for the WWF World Title. See the likes of vintage stars Hogan, Savage, Jake Roberts, Undertaker and Piper while emerging stars Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart and Sid step up to the plate.
STUNNING
This Royal Rumble was truly the greatest rumble of the modern wrestling era. Not only did the unbeatable Hogan get knocked out of the rumble he was compleetly screwed. After two consecutive Rumble victories, too see Hogan get thumped like that was awesome. The "Nature Boy" Ric Flair in the end being the true winner, the "real world champion"
