Customer Reviews
The First and one of the Best.
The matches on this card were good but what everyone wants to know is what I think of the main event. The First ever Hell In A Cell match.
To be honest this was pretty much one of the greatest matches I have ever seen. I mean in a lot of matches (with some exceptions)the first match of a certain type is the best. (This is however joined with six-man at Armageddon)
This Match was a good Balance of technical action, brutality, story and somthing else I had never saw coming. Combat on the roof and Kane.
This Hell in a cell didn't need somebody getting battered in pointless ways (Mick Foley), It didn't need someone getting thrown off the cell in the first minute. (Mick Foley), and it certainly didn't need Thumb Tacks (Mick Foley).
All this need were the basic weapons and the superstars and also this is the only Hell in a Cell match when someone climbed the cage from the inside and did some diving moves.
I don't know why people say that the second Cell match was the best (read my other review if you want know my opinion.) This one is far superior it's a shame that it was not able to save the card to give it 5 stars.
THE 1ST HELL IN A CELL
ONLY GET THIS 4 HELL IN A CELL BETWEEN HBK AND TAKER, HBK TAKES A GOOD BUMP OF THE CELL 2 THE ANOUNCERS TABLE, THERE WAS AN 8 MAN TAG MATCH, A MIDGET TAG MATCH, FLAG MATCH, AND THE ANOUNCEMNT THAT BRIAN PILLMANS DEATH THAT DAY R.I.P
HBK at his best in this brutal classic
The mid card is mainly awful, bar the six-man tag match, but you must buy this simply to see HBK at his best in what is undoubtebly the greatest hell in a cell match of all time. Its brutal but its a must see no matter what.
