Customer Reviews
The last ever In Your House
St. Valentine's Day Massacre was the follow-up to the Royal Rumble, and the build-up to Wrestlemania 15.
1: Goldust VS. Bluedust
Not the best match you'll ever see. The pictures of Bluedust before the match are horrible. 6/10
2: WWF Hardcore Championship
Al Snow VS. Bob Holly
A good match that goes everywhere: the crowd, backstage, the street and the Mississippi River. The two use all sorts of weapons on each other. 9/10
3: Mideon w/Eye in jar VS. Big Boss Man
Same as the first match here. This was a 'Ministry VS. Corporation' match. 6/10
4: WWF Tag Team Championships
Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett (Champions)w/Debra VS. Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown w/Ivory
A good tag team match with activity on the outside of the ring as well. 8/10
5: WWF Intercontinental Championship
Ken Shamrock (Champion) VS. Val Venis w/Ryan Shamrock
with Special Referee: Badd Ass Billy Gunn
Quite a long match, but good anyway. Billy Gunn's officiating isn't like a normal referee's. 8/10
6: X-Pac and Triple H VS. Chyna and Kane
A match where Chyna is in the ring with men and she proves she can go toe-to-toe with them. Shane McMhon joins commentary and gets involved. 8/10
7: Last Man Standing Match for the WWF Championship
Mankind (Champion) VS. The Rock
These two had had some brutal matches before this one: No D.Q. on Raw Is War (when Mankind first won the title), the "I Quit" Match at the Royal Rumble, the Empty Arena Match on Halftime Heat. This one was just as brutal and nasty as the other ones. The Rock also gets to sing 'The Smackdown Hotel' song during this match. 9/10
8: Cage Match
Stone Cold Steve Austin VS. Vince McMahon
It takes a while for thsi match to actually get started. Austin has various chances to win, but keeps going back to get revenge on Vince. 8/10
From cages to the Mississippi River to guitars to bad refereeing to floor tiles, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre is a must-have event for any wrestling fan.
pretty good
I like the last man standing match between the Rock & Mankind. It's funny when the Rock sings his smackdown hotel song.I also enjoyed the Austin vs McMahon match because it was different to the other cage matches.
Not a bad PPV
Goldust vs Bluedust 3/10
The reason why I gave this a 3 was because I thought it was going to be a horrible gimmick match but it had a few good moves (by Goldust), Bluedust moonsault off the top rope was quite fun to watch (for a 300lb guy), but still only a 3.
Hardcore Title Match (For the vacant title)
Al Snow vs Bob Holly 4/10
Typical hardcore match, crowed loved it when both wrestlers took a dip into the Mississippi river ending was a bit dumb but other than that it was ok.
Big Boss Man vs Mideon 2/10
Match was slow and boring and even the crowd thought so as they started chanting BORING. I hate Big Boss Man so to see his butt getting kick by the Minetstry of Darkness was fun and an appearance by The Undertaker was also fun to see.
Tag Team Title Match
Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett vs Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown 6/10
A decent match with some good moves by both teams.
Intercontinental Title Match
Val Venis vs Ken Shamrock: Guest Referee Billy Gunn 7/10
The match was a bit long but some great wrestling buy both Val and Ken. Billy Gunn's officiating if fun to watch and Ken sister Ryan (who this match was fought over) is very HOT.
Kane and Chyna vs Triple H and X-Pac 8/10
Excellent tag match, Chyna was great, this match showed us that Chyna can be in the same ring as men and even beat them to a pulp.
World Title Last Man Standing Match
The Rock vs Mankind 10/10
Match of the night, excellent stuff. Mankind = God
Steel Cage Match
Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon 7/10
Possibly the greatest rivalry of the late 90's was show cased in this steel cage match. The reason why I gave it a 7 was because it was not really a match but something to show Austin's ability to kick ass, and he does just that. There is also an appearance by a future WWF/WWE Superstar, he makes a BIG impact which fails to do the job.
Not a bad PPV but not a great PPV.
