Hurrah!
What a great return to form - it's a damn shame that this is the last in the Mod Jazz series however. The middle two albums were a bit lack-lustre, but this fourth brings back the sheen I found so great on the first album. Once again, I was compelled to spend countless hours in dingy basements, digging out 45's from the likes of Tommy Ridgely, Gene Ludwig, Herbie Man & co, once again I was grooving around my bedroom with the sounds of Mose Allison and Dave Pike. Where were all these tracks on Volume 2??
