VERY hard game
Over recent years the Warcraft saga seems to have been somewhat forgotten. Except for a small online following most people instantly dimiss it due to the fact it has a simple and humourous style. This is reflected in the graphics. The Tides of darkness (Warcraft II) was fairly easy, except for a few later levels and could reflect this image. However, the expansion disk Beyond the Dark portalpicks up exactly where the main game finished, in plot and difficulty. The first missions you'll scrape through but the further you get the more cunning, strategic and daring sides of you emerging. It's basicly what you'd expect from Warcraft, a deep emmersive storyline backed up by great gameplay. The story basicly see's the remaining alliance forces, the ones that survived the invasion of Azeroth braving it through the great portal itself to the Orc homeworld Dreanor in an attempt to stop them from opennig new protals to other worlds and to finally smash the Horde. The Orc plot, as you can imagine is the reverse. You take control of Dreanor's clans then venture through the portal to find the means to open new ones. It basicly ties up the loose ends left by tides of darkness. If you liked Tides of Darkness you'll love this.
