Great organfunk groove
This compilation by acid jazz connoisseur Dean Rudland of Jimmy McGriff's work in the first half of the 70s presents organfunky instrumentals that stay in your mind while you almost unnoticeable start to move and groove.
Highlights are 'Groove grease' and the covers of 'Theme from Shaft' and his own 60s hit 'Fat cakes'.
With this budget price it is a real winner and stands with Pulling out the stops as the best of Jimmy McGriff.
