Truly - An Out of Body Experience!5
The best Summerslam ever made!

One of the best clip beginnings on a WWF video I have ever seen showing us how Jessie came to be guest referee for the main event which features HHH, Mankind and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Jessie Rules alright, throwing China out (who clearly tries to make sure HHH wins the championship) not to mention Shane McMahon.

Mr Ass (with his great entrance theme) is featured in a "Kiss My Ass" match with The Rock.

Edge and Christian also feature in a tag match which virtually every other tag team.

It was a very well made event. You can tell it was summer just by looking at the arena - love that end of August 1999 atmosphere. Plus, Jessie's music is ace - something which I have been unable to buy yet as a theme tune.

Best Match: The Main Event
Worst Match: The First Match - with D'lo - the only bad one!
My Rating: 97.7%

More Information:
I bought the box set of the Best of 1999 - featuring The Royal Rumble, Werstlemaina, King of the Ring, Summerslam and Survivor Series. It was £60 and well worth it.

1999 was WWF at its peak in my opinion.

The HOTTEST Even of 1999 - on DVD5
This is a MUST for all WWF Fans. The womans championship match wasn't great, but the others were great. Kane + X-Pac vs. Big Show + Undertaker, what a great match, and the streetfight between Shame McMahon and Test was a Classic, Boss Man vs Al Snow Hardcore match was great, and allover the place. Rock vs Mr Ass was great too as you expect from the Rock. Debra was looking as SEXY and HOT as usual with the Jarret vs D'lo match. Shamrock vs blackman in the lions den was deadly, but an interesting match. The Tag Team Turmoil with the Hardys, Edge & Christian, Aolytes, the Hollys and Mideon & Viscrea was also a great fight. The Main Event, Triple threat, The Game, Stone Cold and Mankind WWF Championship fight was No. 1. A Great, amazing battle. Like I said before, a MUST if your a World Wrestling Federation Fan. Although, the VHS version is cheaper.

1 word BRILLIANT5
WWF Pay per views are usually good but this is so much better. From top to bottom it is amazing every match is good and with the surprising end to the triple threat main event between WWF Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H & Mankind made it so much better. Jesse The Body Ventura as the referee in the match made it great as well. other matches included Test vs Shane McMahon, Ivory vs Tori, X-Pac & Kane vs The Undertaker & The Big Show you cant afford to miss this one folks it lives up to the SummerSlam name and the DVD is just packed with special features like the build up to the matches and superstar voiceovers in the main event dont miss this one folks you will regret it.
