I found a Treasure5
This has to be one of the maddest games i've ever played, to be frank i'm suprised it got a Uk release! The first thing I noticed about the game is the brightness of the in-game colours and the sheer Japaneseness of the game, i'm sure some of the jokes in the game are hilarious in their own country but over here in translation they seem bonkers. But for me this adds a certain charm and uniqueness to the game. The premise of the game is that you control a mech flying around various space stations and basically you've got to blow everything up but as with many Treasure games the games simple premise belies its hidden depth. You can switch between two mechs and consequently two characers at any time during gameplay, these two characters have distinctly different powers and use of both characters is essential to progression. Did I mention the explosions? They are huge and nearly everything is distructable. The game has 40+ levels so this is not one you're going to complete quickly but as with other Treasure games obtaining that slightly higher score is the motivating factor here. Graphics and Music are excellent with the the control method being fantastic (like Smash Tv you can move in any direction whilst firing in any direction). I thouroughy enjoyed this game it's like nothing i've played before.

Brilliant-one of the best games ever made5
This game is so much fun-it reminded me why I enjoyed gaming so many years ago-there are no boring cut scenes or bland repetetive 3D corridors to run down-just incredible blasting in abstract 2D environments with surprises around every corner-the level design is imaginative to the extreme and boss encounters are incredibly intense and throw up many surprises. This is true gameplay and will last you ages with the perfectly balanced learning curve-buy this and find out what true gaming is!

Gameplay's where it's at!4
Forget your snazzy graphics, 3D accelerators, and bi-linear thingy bobs. This is what true gaming is about - great fun, large explosions, and a totally un-fussy interface. The graphics, though functional, are perfect for this game's premise but there's so much going on screen that you really won't have the time to admire them. It's your usual scroll around the screen in all directions shooting everything you see type of game but with a twist. What is it? Find out for yourself! You can't go wrong for a game of this type for under a tenner.
