One of the most underrated groups of the 1980's5
Although their only real hit album was the 'Turn Back The Clock' album, I reckon that Johnny Hates Jazz did not get the praise they so deserved, and it is only when we now listen to the tracks from that album (many of which are on this newer collection) and the others that maybe they were highly underrated.

Most of the tracks on this are of the high calibre that gives songs the potential to be remembered for some time. Brilliant tracks such as 'Shattered Dreams', 'Turn Back The Clock' (in its original form and also in a remixed version on here), 'Don't Say It's Love', 'Me And My Foolish Heart' (which was just called 'Foolish Heart' on the original 'Turn Back The Clock' album) and 'Different Seasons' are just a small portion of the sixteen high-quality tracks on offer here.

If you are a nostalgia fan or love 80's music, this has some very memorable tunes that should be easy on the ear. In the words of a certain song: 'I wish that I could turn back the clock, bring the wheels of time to a stop, back to the days when life was so much better'. I miss those days...

Such happy memories of the 80s come flooding back when I hear songs from Johnny Hates Jazz. I've missed this album so much and am overjoyed at having it back in my collection again. If you were a teen of the 80s then this is your kind of album! Mellow, meaningful and envelopes you with a feeling of sheer nostalga and warmth! A must have for all of those memories to come flooding back once more!
