Though that may sound easy, it's not. More than just merely shaking them, the visuals prompt you where to shake them in three levels between your head and your knees. In other words, think of Samba de Amigo as cross between Dance, Dance Revolution and semaphore. The game requires quick reflexes, great timing, and powerful concentration. And though you can use a standard controller to play this colourful, musical game, Sega has designed it for use with a special Maracas Controller so you can have that arcade experience at home.

Innovative, expensive and worth every penny!
Samba is one of those rare games - completely original! The gameplay is simple enough to master, but the real winner are the tracks that have been selected for the game - The Austin Powers theme and Take On Me are just two of the star performers! Add this to the fact that you can download more tunes from DreamArena and here you have a game with a long future. It is expensive, but you do ultimately get your moneys worth - BUY IT!!

Hai-Hai-Hai-Hai!!!
I LOVE THIS GAME! If you don't have a Dreamcast (and why not?) then buy one NOW, this game is the most fun you can have standing up! Sonic Team (creators of my all time favourite NiGHTS, as well as all the Sonics too) have yet again proved themselves master developers with this game. Looking at screenshots I was not all that impressed, because I didn't even know the maracas existed! I got this game for my birthday, and I played ALL DAY!! The only other game to keep me playing for 14 hours is Shenmue! And this is much more fun! Does your console have a game this much fun? Thought not. Will your console EVER have a game this much fun? Thought not. Will your console ever have an interface is inovative as this one? Thought not..

Well my initial impression was "oh my God, what have sega done?!?!?!" but now, I say "oh my God, well done!!" After playing on it for one go, I am now totally addicted!! My brother loves it too! In fact, he loves it more than I do, if that is possible!! What else can I say, but go go go!
