Editorial Reviews
Amazon.co.uk Review
More prolific than ever, the sadly departed Tupac re-emerges with yet another compilation of demos, unfinished thoughts and songs even he probably didn't like. Until the End of Time chronicles the fruitful Makaveli period of 2Pac's career, shortly before his untimely slaying. One of Tupac's greatest assets was the way he revelled in his own contradictions--as the way he'd drop an uplifting track like "Keep Ya Head Up" in the middle of a hardcore gangsta album. Despite moments like the pensive "Until the End of Time" or "Letter 2 My Unborn", an overwhelming majority of Until is straight "thug life". He's a masterful narrator ("Ballad of a Dead Soulja", "Last Ones Left"), but over the course of 90 minutes the "thugisms" get monotonous, especially given the number of songs that appear twice. The most intriguing moments of Until are the odd references--to his own death, to a young Jay-Z, to the then-unknown phrase "Bling Bling". This is an album strictly for die-hards. --Hua Hsu

brilliant
Until The End Of Time explodes into action with the hard-hitting 'Ballad Of A Dead Soulja', the first track on disc 1. 'Letter To My Unborn', 'Breathin', 'Happy Home' and 'All Out' follow on this disc, and I would rate them all as absolute Tupac classics. The first disc also contians other great songs (though not as good as the others mentioned) like 'Thug N U Thug N Me', 'M.O.B.', 'World Wide Mob Figgaz' and the album title track 'Until The End Of Time'.
The 2nd disc provides us with another version of 'Until' and the original 'Thug N U Thug N Me', as well as other remixes, but the best songs on this dics, and, probobly on the whole album are; 'When Thugz Cry', 'Lastonesleft' and the 'Pac produced piece of brilliance 'Why U Turn On Me'.
Most of the production on this album is done by Jonhnny 'J', and is water-tight.
Overall, a fantastic album, with many great songs on it. Tupac's second best, behind 'All Eyez On Me'. A must for any fan on 'Pac, or of just hip hop. Class
excellent album
i just wanna take some time and comment on the reviewer claiming to be a real rap fan firstly most of these were recorded back in hes makaveli period so they probably got the seal of approval from tupac shakur and yes some of the songs maybe unfinished thoughts but most of it is genuine and hasnt been tampered with by executives and even though its a postphomous release its 1 of tupacs best album with extremely powerfull songs like ballad of a dead soulja and fuck friends its probably the best postphomous release to date unlike tupac resurrection and loyal to the game which is an insult to tupac especially having tupac cheering on saying GGGGG-UNIT and shady aftermath i mean thats fucking discracefull. Most of the songs are excellent and great to listen to but occasionally your get some crappy songs like happy home but i recommend it to any 1 and take my advice ive listened to rap about 15 years not the advice of someone who doesnt know from hes ass to hes elbow r.i.p tupac
2 pac brilliance!
Having loved 2-pacs previous album, decided to top up on my collection, wasn't sure if it would be as could as ' all eyes on me' but it is just as great! on disk 1 some of the best track have to be 2. f*** friendz 3. lil'homies actually all of them! I really love ' my closest roaddogz' got a really strong beat to it. and the following two tracks are brill too. 2 pac is a genius, r.i.p you have to buy it if you've got any of his other albums, and if you hav'nt your mad, go out and buy some now! True hip hop brilliance, this is what it's all about.
