Good value with just a few flaws
I've been looking for a new, cheaper CD wallet for all my songs recently, and spotted this case in HMV for the same price as Amazon. Backing up from what others have said, it's built very well and feels like genuine quality - not one of the hundreds of nasty cheap ones you can buy.
I only have two concerns for taking this around town with me, but neither have had 'too' much impact so far. Firstly, the zip doesn't reach completely around the case right up to the corner, as even when it's reached the 3rd side, theirs a gap were water may slip in. Luckily I used a backpack, so not much of an issue. The only other thing is that if you unfold the case flat, you still have to lift one side up to turn the 'pages', as they get caught under the zip lining.
For the price, you can't do much better but this would definitely suit home use better than 'on the road' as their are tougher cases out there.
Excellent capacity
280 DVD's in one folder, amazing. I have films in one folder and TV series in another folder. The sheets fit into two leather straps which lock to the folder and hold them in place. The straps can be unlocked so the sheets can be rearranged if required.
This is the best DVD/CD wallet on the market and is worth the extra. I won't buy any other wallet.
OK, but a bit of a let down in quality. Not that flexible.
I've bought other sized units of the same make and each time the quality seems a little worse. This product is OK, but just OK. Having bought it I haven't used it. Instead I have bought aluminium flight cases which are more durable, hold more discs, but most importantly allow either CDs or DVDs to be stored in alphabetical order, which is very hard to do with these cases.
These wallets are fine if you have a 100 or so disks, but lack practicality if filled with 280 disks that cannot be filed in order with any degree of ease.
Having started using the flight cases I have since chucked all my nylon wallets away.
