The Thomas-shaped flashlight can be moved along the ground on its wheels as a toy, but doubles up as a light--perfect for reading under the covers when the lights are supposed to be out! The light itself projects Thomas' face onto either walls or bed clothes, making it fun for children who like to use their imaginations to make up their own Thomas stories. It can be either flashed on and off (perfect for secret signals) or switched on to constant, making it a great temporary nightlight for children who are nervous of the dark.

And of course, for those adults out there who are looking for something a little bit different to keep in the boot of their car for emergencies, this would make a great, fun gift.

i bought this for my son who was always using my husband's torch and in turn was wasting the batteries. it is a fun item which my son loves, especially as the symbol of thomas can be shone on the wall. However, once the batteries are in it feels too heavy and for ten pounds it looks and feels cheaper. My main disappointment is the on/off switch is located underneath the handle which is far too difficult for a little person to even attempt. On the other hand, older children will enjoy this better but i will say that my son likes it very much and is totally unaware of my thoughts!!

Made a three year old very happy, the moving wheels make it a good toy as well as a useful torch, big, chunky and durable. The smiling Thomas projection is great for in the middle of the night
