Customer Reviews

Wrestlemania X-Seven5

Intercontinental Championship
Chris Jericho (champ) vs. William Regal

A good way to kick off Wrestlemania but this was no where near the standards of some of the other matches. A bit slow and boring in parts, but a couple of good moves used.
7/10

6 Man Tag-Team Match
Tazz and The APA (Bradshaw and Faarooq) w/Jacqueline vs. The Right to Censor (The Goodfather, Val Venis and Bull Buchanan) w/Steven Richards

Again, not a very good match (but Tazz is cool so it isn't all that bad). We don't see much of Faarooq in this one -or The Goodfather- and it's kind of short for a 6 Man Tag.
6/10

Hardcore Championship
Triple Threat
Raven (champ) vs. Kane vs. Big Show

Definitely one of the best matches of the night. Fast-paced, exciting (and pretty brutal too!) this match had all the things a Hardcore should. An astounding event.
10/10

European Championship
Test (champ) vs. Eddie Guerrero w/Perry Saturn

Another average match, although the previous one made it look better than it actually was. If you like Eddie Guerrero and the Radicalz, then you'll enjoy this match. Concentrating on the wrestling though, it's more suited to Sunday Night Heat.
4/10

Single Match
Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit

A great contest for lovers of technical wrestling and even if you don't it's still good. Both men are amazing athletes and even though this isn't as good as their one they would have at Backlash next month, it is still a fabulous match.

Women's Championship
Ivory (champ) vs. Chyna

Boring. Lucky it was over quickly.
2/10

Street Fight
Special Guest Referee: Mick Foley
Vince McMahon w/Stephanie McMahon vs. Shane McMahon

Not as good as I expected but this is more focused on the McMahon family than the match. A few exciting parts but for a street fight, it is over very quickly.
8/10

Tag-Team Championship
TLC II
Triple Threat
Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) (champs) vs. Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) vs. Edge and Christian

The third and final match in these three teams legendary TLC matches. Some absolutely breathtaking moves used here and so many tables were broken by these 6 men you lose count. Just when you thought someone was about to win, they went through yet another table, and another, and another! This isn't as good as their one at Wrestlemania 2000 though and it is over quicker than I thought. Still brilliant, second best match of the night.
10/10

Gimmick Battle Royal

Stupid. The entrances were longer than the actual match! "Mean" Gene Okerlund and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan were commentating on this one, so for the longtime fans it's a bit more enjoyable but for us new-ish ones, give it a miss.
1/10

No Holds Barred
Undertaker vs. Triple H

Not as brutal as I thought it would be, especially since the referee gets knocked out near the beginning. The fight into the crowd is amazing and it's funny when this idiot jumps in front of Triple H and pushes him and Triple H pushes him so hard, he falls back into his seat. It starts to pick up speed near the end though.
8/10

World Wrestling Federation Championship
No Disqualification
The Rock (champ) vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

The second in the trilogy of the Austin/Rock matches at Wrestlemania and in my view, the best. This match is unbelievably brutal with both men bleeding like mad at the end. The pair put up a good fight and this was so unpredictable, it could have gone either way. 100% the best match of the night.
10/10

Overall:
A fantastic Wrestlemania with so many good matches you forget the bad ones. This was the era that changed WWE and it has some legendary matches we will never forget. This has to be one of the best Wrestlemanias... ever.
10/10

Wrestlemania 175
This is my favourite Mania along with Mania 19. This event has it all TLC,a fantastic hardcore match and a tremendous main event supported by to fantastic grudge. I would recommend this anytime.

1. WWF Intercontinental title match. Chris Jericho Vs William Regal.
Good opener which takes up a good amount of time and features some good moves. Jericho retains. 7/10

2. APA & Tazz Vs Right To Censor.
Short match which fits its bill of being a card filler. I used to hate the RTC so watching them getting trashed is great. 6/10

3. WWF hardcore title triple threat. Raven Vs Kane Vs Big Show.
This match is great it goes all over the building. Raven gets put through a glass window. Golf carts are also used. Kane wins from a leg drop off of the stage!!. 8/10

4. WWF European Title. Test Vs Eddie Guerrero.
Good match (what is Perry Saturn wearing!!) but it is a little to predictible. But still a good match. Eddie Wins! 7/10

5.Grudge match. Kurt Angle Vs Chris Benoit.
Match of the year contender. Fantastic mat wrestling. Every time these two meet it is a classic and this is no exception. Great match (this Mania just gets better and better) Angle Wins! 9/10

6. WWF Womens Title. Ivory Vs Chyna
Very short match and very one sided. Chyna gets her revenge. 4/10

7.Father Vs Son. Vince McMahon Vs Shane McMahon. Mick Foley Is Ref.
Fantastic match with a great Shane dive through the announce table. Thsi match really starts the Invasion angle. Linda McMahon gets up from her wheelchair and gives Vince a kick in the you no whats and Shane flys from one end of the ring to the other for the win. 8.5/10

8. TLC tag titles match. E&C Vs Dudley Boyz Vs Hardy Boyz.
THis is what i call a tag match table after table bump after bump what can i say. You can not put this match into words. Fanrastic but not as good as their Summerslam 2000 encounter. Winners E&C!. 9/10

9. Gimmick Battle Royal with Gene Okerland and Bobby Heenan as commentators.
I love this match as you can see some legends like The Iron Sheik(who takes ages to get to the ring) and STG Slaugter. Good if you are a fan of old school wrestling. Winner Iron Sheik. 6/10

10. Grudge Match. Undertaker Vs Triple H
Brilliant match. With action in the crowd and a chokeslam from 10 feet. I am a massive Taker fan so i was happy to see him win. This match is back and forward. Taker 9/0. 9/10

11. WWF title match. Stone Cold Vs The Rock
This match is one of the best main events you will ever see which has a shocking ending. This match lasts for 30 mins and does it get boring not a chance. You will have to watch to see the winner and the shocking outcome. 10/10

Buy this you will not see a better event than this in any WWF/E PPV.Only if it could be this goood now.
