SuGar CoaTed PunK Pop! GrL Power!!4
After seeing the fun girly movie, Josie and the Pussycats, I had to buy this album! It's a fun record - not for any "serious" punk rockers out there. Each song has it's own up beat, girl power feel to it and you definately won't be able to sit still! A good record to jump along to, or if you need cheering up!
The only down point is that it's only good in small doses - playing it on repeat gets extremely annoying!

Good Girlie Fun!5
Well i only just started playing the guitar whn i watched this film and i really loved the music. Thats where i decided i wanna play that kinda stuff and so i immediatley got the soundtrack. Being a music dunce i had to get the song sheet as well but its a great soundtrack to jam along to, especially when you just had a row with one of your rents. There are some punk rock type songs mixed with a bit of pop and if you like that kinda thing go get it! Its got some good songs and 'you dont see me' is great fun if u wanna sulk and feel sorry for ureself. Most of the others make you feel great; Also if u dont like DuJour and BOY BAND POP like me its still worth gettin the soundtrack - just dont play those songs lol!

Harmless quick-fix chick rock!4
I bought this CD simply because I like this type of music, and if you rate bands like Veruca Salt and Letters To Cleo (the 'real' Josie and the Pussycats), but you don't mind a bit more of a pop flavour, then you'll probably like it too. The whole running time is about 37 minutes, so the songs are short'n'sweet. Nothing wrong with that, but you could argue that anything over a tenner for this CD would be pushing it a bit. That said, I often put it on when I want a blast of girlie pop/rock, so if that's your bag, then go for it! Best songs on it are probably the covers though (especially Real Wild Child).
