The best football managment game around
Championship Manager 97/98 - a football managment game which lets you buy and sell players - you decide the wages, lets you play is various legaues and competitons around europe and firendlies. Thats just the basics, this game is addictive, fun and in my opnion the best of the championship manager series. You can also use the editor to create your own players and teams or edit current players and teams. Buy this game without a second thought.

What Can You Say
Cm 97/98 for me began my champ world this was the original mind blower. With spot on statistics accurate match reports and a data editor to die for this is a footy fans dream. I have since bought every champ since then and I have to say none have succeeded this for me. Despite all the updated versions no game has blown me away like this little beauty.

brilliant - ps anyone running it on xp?
this is the the best game in the championship manager series because it's the perfect blend between detail and playability. later versions are far too detailed and you could spend hours before even playing one match. where as cm 9798 you can get half a season done in a few hours. i would still play this if i could get it running under windows xp - it loads but the mouse movement is weird.
