Customer Reviews

Chilling, freaky, funny and totally original5
American McGee's Alice is perhaps, one of the most startlingly original games in history, featuring the kind of twisted originality not seen for years the game is a horrifying twist of a familiar realm. It is fitting that the musical score is as twisted in reality as the gameworld is.

The score, by Chris Vrenna, is very difficult to describe, child lullaby like dittles played on antique children's music toys intertwine with dark and sinister choir, strings and samples that gives you an altogether terrifying listening experience.

The soundtrack CD features rearrangements of Vrenna's favourite tracks out of the game soundtrack.

A must have!5
If you have not bought this album yet and you are into dark, weird or even twisted evil music, then I highly suggest you run out and buy this album now!

I absolutely love this album and its amazing originality! I wish there were more albums out there like this.

If you love the game, you'll love this!5
If you played this game as I did for hours on end and still love the music despite hearing for those same hours on end, this CD is for you!

It has a slightly creepy undertone to it (as does the game) but is a nice stand-alone CD. However, if you haven't played the game you might not totally understand the context of some of the speech excerpts.

Vrenna's CD is whimsical, a bit twisted, and very original!
