Editorial Reviews
Amazon.co.uk Review
The opening line of the first song ("Would You Be Happier") begins "Have you ever wondered where the story ends, and how it all began" which raises questions about the future of the band, especially as it's the opening track of their definitive Best of collection. Despite becoming one of the world's biggest pop groups in the late 1990s, the Corrs were almost transformed over-night from being one of the chicest groups around to being one of the un-coolest. Their mass appeal led to certain sections of their fan base rapidly searching for other distinctive types of music, and their third studio album In Blue was shunned by many. Despite what your opinion may be of the group, there is no disputing that Corrs classics such as "So Young" and "I Never Loved You Anyway" are catchy, pleasant tunes that succeed so well because they are so simple. All the other favourites are also on here, including "Only When I Sleep" and "Give Me Reason", as well as three tracks from 1999's Unplugged album ("Radio", "Everybody Hurts" and "Lough Erin Shore"). Although the collection closes with the unremarkable new track "Make You Mine", the penultimate song is "Dreams", the Fleetwood Mac track that finally brought them success. Even if it means swallowing your pride, now may be the time to rediscover the wonder of the Corrs. --John Galilee

The best of three
This is the best of three of their albums and it does have some great songs on and by the best of the albums I mean the singles. If it was the best of the three combined albums then this would be an amazing album and it is still amazing in it's own right with two bonus tracks on as well as two live tracks from their MTV Unpluuged album.
It is a great play from start to finish, if you like the Corrs but don't know which album to buy then buy this because you get a bit of their albums on on CD.
the best group you can find
i have been a fan of the course for years have seen them twice have seen most of the song on this album performed live infront of me and to say that other pop people cant sing live is so true they sound the same live as they do on a cd which you dont see in most other acts of these days, this album has the best of there music on it havin writen this after borrowed heaven came out there is more execlent music to be heard
All bow down to the corrs!
It is so refreshing to have a band that take the music industry seriously! This is one talanted bunch of people! With THE Andrea Corr on lead vocals and tin whistle, Caroline Corr on Drums, Bodhran, Piano, and backing Vocals, Jim Corr on Keyboards, Guitar, and backing Vocals, and Sharon Corr on Violin, and you guessed it, backing Vocals. This CD contains all their best work. The best featured tracks are 'Breathless', in which you understand the true extent of Andrea's vocal ability, and 'Give me a reason' which features some fantastic irish music.
It has ballads, songs you can dance to, and the lyrics and music is all written and performed by The Corrs!
If any band deserves more recognition than they get, it's The Corrs! Get this CD, and you won't regret it.
