DVD Description
This film is presented by Soldier I, best selling author who took part in the Iranian Embassy hostage rescue. Known to his colleagues in the regiment as "Snapper", the narrator tells both of his own eighteen years of service and gives an authorative account of many other SAS operations. Some of these actions have never been disclosed on DVD before.
Covering much more than the familiar Palace Gate action, this film contains operational footage from the Falklands, the Peterhead Prison rescue, Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Columbia, Borneo, Mirbat, Malaya, Libyan Embassy, Iraq and Jebel Akhdar.
As well as an informative commentary by "Snapper", this DVD also features veterans of previous SAS campaigns, and has an interview with Andy McNab, who tells the story of his capture and incarceration.

Fantastic!
This DVD offers lots of great extras plus a great, lenghty programme which includes all of the SAS' area of operations. The part on the Gulf War is particulary interesting as it shows two SAS troopers being released from captivity from one of Sadams' military prisons (anyone who has read Bravo Two Zero will know what this means)!
The SAS In Action on your DVD player
This DVD presented by the author who took part in the Iranian Embassy hostage rescue. This narrator is called 'Snapper', who tells of his eighteen years service and of other SAS operations. I've always had an interest in this special unit and I've always wanted to find out more about it. This DVD is great material for anyone with an interest in special forces and SAS unit of course. The video and sound quality is good and the content will probably only please those who have absolutely no prior information on the subject.
not so good
this dvd has its moments but they are few and far between. soldier one give the impression of not having learned his script and in general this is nothing but a load of short clips cobbled together with some pretty amatuerish narration. there are better videos out there.
