Customer Reviews
Great voice, great soul music.
Timed to be released to shamelessly exploit the Valentine's Day market, nevertheless, this album is a great introduction to one of the very finest soul singers ever.
Timeless classics such as 'Tired of Being Alone' and 'Take Me to the River' sit alongside Al's own cover versions of 'Light My Fire' and 'How can You Mend a Broken Heart' to show what a great singer he was / is. Buy it, if only to find out that there's more to Al Green than guest appearances in Ally McBeal.
