The Greatest Documentary Ever Made...5
Truly a stunning piece of documentary film making, meticulously researched, thoroughly gripping and deeply thought provoking. It examines all the evidence with a respectful lack of bias and delivers the many theories and ideas regarding the tragic events in Dallas without descending into crack pot conspiracy theory. It is the bench mark for investigative documentary journalsim and is a perfect companion to Oliver Stone's JFK and ranks as one of the greatest documentaries ever made...

Compelling Documentary5
This 2-DVD set is subtitled "The Definitive Account Of American History's Most Controversial Mystery" and I would certainly go along with that. It is a compilation of various instalments originally broadcast on ITV in the UK.

In many peoples' minds, the "Lone Nut Assassin" theory has always left the feeling that the public was not being told the full facts of the case. The public has always demanded that the truth be told, and this series is probably the best attempt to date to do so - and certainly the most comprehensive.

This is an exposé which has been painstakingly researched and put together. There are penetrating interviews with some of the most important surviving players in the scenario, and some credible attempts to show scientifically what was the most likely explanation of the tragic events of November 1963.

Yes, some of the conclusions are controversial, but the viewer has to make up his or her mind after weighing up the known facts.

To me, the evolution in photographic and computer technology since 1963 has been a major factor in getting nearer to the truth. Hitherto unknown (to us at least) details on the Mary Moorman photo, for example, reveal the presence of various figures behind the fence on the Grassy Knoll - notably the mysterious "Badgeman". An important and previously unpublicised witness, Gordon Arnold, bravely comes forward and identifies himself as another figure in the Moorman photo, who was standing near the fence.

Oswald's background is thoroughly investigated, and it becomes increasingly obvious that he may simply have been set up to take the blame. His words "I'm just a patsy" are beginning to take on an ominous significance.

Jack Ruby, too, comes under the microscope, and his publicised motive for murdering Oswald becomes more and more unconvincing, and a more realistic scenario takes shape.

Finally, the producers deliver their verdict as to who was behind the assassination - and I won't spoil matters by going into that.

For any serious student of the JFK affair, and indeed, for anyone curious to know what really happened, this DVD set is a must-have.

Speculation abounds5
We follow several theories including the Warren Commission and just passers by; each in reenacted so we can see that it was possible or not. In this case you start to think everyone is guilty except Oswald.

"The Men Who Killed Kennedy", a six-part series; It is quite a bit to take in at one sitting. It looks like everyone is coming out of the woodwork. Where were these people when you could do something about it? And everyone had a gun or a camera. There were pictures of the people taking pictures and pictures of people with guns. There were shots from buildings, knolls, and even sewers. Everyone that ever had a grudge and even a group put together by Bobby Kennedy.

I do not want to tell too much, as that is why you are buying the film. You will finally be convinced it happened this way then they will convince you it happened that way. But you will be glued to the set the whole time.
