Best flight stick yet.
What distinguishes the 'Fox 2' as a quality product and makes it the absolute first choice for those seeking an XBox flight stick can be summed up thus: adaptability.
If, like me, you want to play 'Secret Weapons Over Normandy' with a joystick, with any degree of intuitiveness, you want this one. No question about it.
Bear in mind that SWON does not allow you to customise your control layout to any meaningful degree. Now consider that (on every flight stick that I've tried) the throttle control, by default, mimics the actions of the left & right triggers, (No, I don't know why, either...) and you can begin to see where a non-programmable joystick will positively sabotage an immersive gaming experience.
This is where the 'Fox 2' more than justifies it's slightly higher price. If you can't change the control layout in a game, so what? You can re-assign any input on the stick to perform any other function. This is accomplished remarkably easily too, the concise manual gives clear and unambiguous instructions on programming and re-programming the stick. Not that you'll have to refer to the instructions more than a couple of times after initial experimentation, it is that simple to configure the 'Fox 2' to suit even the most idiosyncratic gamer's whim.
Build quality is very good, sturdy and comfortable to use.
