CD Description
'Still Blazin' is the follow up to 2000's 'More Fire' and Capleton's eighth studio album. Using his Rastafarian roots, and the Jamaican dancehall sound, 'Still Blazin' is a blend of hard edged beats and spiritual lyrics. Capleton is joinedby fellow Jamaican, Luciano and reggae group, Morgan Heritage.
Customer Reviews
Really blazin'
An apt title for a good album. Capleton is presented in a mature style but still linking up to his dancehall roots. The fire is still raging in the heart, and you feel it immediaelly track 1 starts. "Search fi a find" captures the general aim of a hustler in life. The message is to fight on the terms of Jah who will show you the way. Never forget to feel the drums on this track. "mashing up the world", old wisdom, but still relevant. Is anyone listening? Just these 2 tracks defines the rootsness of this album. Do not miss "red red red", "cyan taya" and all the hot dancehall vibe on this compilation.A good one from the Prophet.
